Itinerary for 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1 : Fes - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi

On the first day of your 4-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, your driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM, taking you directly to Merzouga and the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes. You'll travel through the Atlas Mountains to Tafilalte, an area with numerous villages and two main Saharan towns, Erfoud and Rissani. Along the way, you'll stop to explore the alpine town of Ifrane, Azrou cedar forest, Midelt for lunch, and the Ziz valley for breathtaking views of the palm trees. Once you arrive at the dunes, you'll ride camels to your camp, where you'll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a luxurious tented camp.

Day 2 : Erg Chebbi - Rissani - Todra Gorges

Rise early for breakfast before riding camels back to your hotel for a quick shower. You'll then head to the Sahara town of Rissani before traveling north to Erfoud, where you'll visit a fossil workshop. Next, you'll proceed to the impressive Todra canyons, a popular spot for rock climbing enthusiasts. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a hotel.

Day 3 : Todra Gorges - Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on the journey along the "Road of 1000 Kasbahs," passing through the Dades Valley and ascending to a mountainous area. Here, you'll visit Berber villages and meet nomads living in caves, learning about their daily lives and activities. On your way to Skoura's palm grove, marvel at the colorful rose valley. Once you arrive in Ouarzazate, check into your hotel for dinner and your third night's stay.

Day 4 : Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

On the final day, following breakfast, you'll visit Ouarzazate's cinema sets and studios, known as the "Hollywood of Africa." Next, explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a backdrop for over 20 films, including "Gladiator," "Indiana Jones," and "Lawrence of Arabia."
