The following day, you'll enjoy a leisurely stroll in the Todra Gorges before venturing to Merzouga, where a camel trek will take you deep into the desert for a star-filled night in a nomadic bivouac. On the final day, we'll travel along a different route towards Fes, passing through various picturesque villages and stunning landscapes. Upon arrival in Fes, our driver will drop you off at your hotel.

Itinerary for 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes

Day 1 : Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate or Skoura Oasis

On the first day of our 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and head towards Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara, crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Our first stop will be at the Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for numerous Hollywood movies such as "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Jesus of Nazareth." The site is still inhabited by Berber villagers who maintain their traditional lifestyles. You'll have time to explore the Kasbah at your leisure, taking in the stunning views from the highest point. We'll then continue driving to Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay at a lovely hotel.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate or Skoura - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, we'll depart from the hotel in Ouarzazate at 8:00 AM, taking the Road of 1000 Kasbahs towards Skoura, an oasis of palm groves and home to many of southern Morocco's historic monuments, such as Amerhidil and Ait Abbou Kasbahs. We'll then proceed to Kelaat Mgouna, where locals hold the annual Festival of Roses to celebrate the new harvest and sell various rose-based products. Next, we'll cross the Valley of Roses to Boumalen Dades and Tineghir, known for its Jewish square and lush palm groves. Upon arriving at Todra Gorges, we'll have lunch and take a walk through the canyons. In Merzouga, we'll trek by camel for about 1.5 hours through the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoying the Sahara sunset before reaching our nomadic bivouac, where we'll spend the night in a desert camp.

Day 3 : Erg Chebbi - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes

On the third day, we'll rise early at 5:30 AM to catch the first rays of sunlight and enjoy breakfast at the bivouac. Afterward, we'll ride camels back to meet our driver and make our way to Fes, passing through the tranquil Ziz Valley, Errachidia, and Midelt. We'll have lunch near the city of Azrou and visit the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you might spot monkeys that inhabit the area. Finally, we'll continue to Fes, concluding our 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes.
